Amber: “Although ways to serve individuals with developmental disabilities have been established, it’s important to continue to develop new ways. Approaches may need to be replaced or modified as other aspects of society shift, or as systemic or individual situations change.”
The Council may support and conduct time-limited activities to:
- Demonstrate new approaches to serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Updated approaches should be part of an overall systems change strategy.
- Educate policymakers and the public in ways that contribute to the achievement of the DD Council purpose.
