The WIPA (Work Incentives Planning Assistance) service in Oregon made this video about the impact of work on SSI in 2020. While the numbers have changed (SSI monthly benefit has increased, as has the amount of money a person can earn to maintain Medicaid coverage), the concepts remain the same – a person who received SSI will ALWAYS have more money by working.
