In this section, you will be presented with a list of attributes to consider when choosing a training room. Please click each choice below to see how important it is for your training environment, keeping in mind that while some options are nice to have, they may not be the most important.
Somewhat Important: Natural light is good for keeping participants alert and awake – but sometimes it can be pesky about leaving glare on screens. Make sure you’re equipped with the ability to control this variable!
Important: It’s not comfortable for an adult to sit in a child’s chair for any amount of time – much less a multiple hour training!
Important: Don’t put anything in the line of sight between you/the presentation, and your participants.
Important: Make sure every participant has the same opportunity to physically see your digital presentation.
Important: A lectern or podium can sometimes create a feeling of a formal training, which is not generally conducive to a positive learning environment.
Important: It’s difficult to move around and actively participate with no elbow room!
This is appreciated – but it really depends on the budget of your training and if the location allows food in the facility.
Important: As a trainer you will need ample space for your training materials and space for you to present.
Somewhat Important: This provides a more comfortable seating opportunity for your participants.
Somewhat Important: Being able to control the temperature means you can ensure your participants are comfortable, although it isn’t essential to your training session. In registration confirmation, encourage participants to be prepared for temperature fluctuations.
