Appointment History can be found in the Navigation Pane on the left hand side of the screen. The Appointment History link allows you to view a grid of all appointments for an individual. Pull up a copy of your Appointment History Guide and let’s practice in the Sandbox.

Let’s Give it a Try!

1.) Open and log into the Sandbox using the button below. Check the URL to ensure that you are accessing the Sandbox.

NOTE: It is very important to ensure that you are using the sandbox and not the live KYGFIS system.

2.) Search for an individual under guardianship by Last Name, First Name (e.g., Doe, Jane). Use a name provided to you by your supervisor.

3.) Click the “Appointment History” link on the left-hand side of the screen. This will pull up the Appointment History grid with all prior appointments.

4.) Open your Appointment History Guide for specific instructions on inserting a new appointment history record. Before beginning, check that you are inserting a new record and not editing an existing record.

5.) Once you have inserted an Appointment History, what do you notice about some of the values? Does anything change?

6.) After a record has been saved, the individual’s Face Sheet will be updated, and the record will show as view only. Individuals with multiple appointment types will need an Appointment History for each type.

6.) Practice with some of the different types of appointments.

  • Insert an Emergency Appointment (page 3) and
  • Terminate a Power (page 4).
