Role Play

An instructional strategy that utilizes the previous experiences of the adult learners to provide experiential learning opportunities and encourage reflection. Learners are asked to take on the role of another and act out how that character should behave.

Training Delivery Examples:

• Use as video recording to share content. Can be used in a humorous way, or to stage scenarios.
• As an assignment have participants submit a video of them using role play to stage/show what they have learned.
