General Guidelines

In addition to the federal guidelines, there are some general guidelines DD Councils operate under.

  • Match amounts are different based on the type of project. 
  • Councils should have a system in place to look at matching on a project-by-project level to determine the overall match.
  • Councils must be able to look at match project by project with the appropriate required match to determine if there is a match, overmatch, or undermatch.
  • Councils have until the end of each project period to reach the match amount.
  • Keep detailed documentation  on file for each year to support the match (cost sharing) amounts on each annual SF-425
