Event Types in KYGFIS

KYGFIS Event Types:

  • Appointment Orders
  • Collateral Contact with individuals under guardianship
  • Case Consultation
  • Collateral Contact
  • Consent to Treat/Medical Consent
  • Court Hearing
  • Face to Face with individuals under guardianship
  • Face-to-Face Home Visit
  • Face Time/Video Contact

Entering an Event in KYGFIS:

When documenting an event in KYGFIS you will see the following fields created to improve documentation and accountability:

  • Action date (Date can be modified to the date the activity or work occurred, i.e., if you completed a call on May 3rd but didn’t enter the Event until May 8th, then the Action Date should be entered as May 3rd.)
  • Event Type (Drop Down Box)
  • *Time
  • **Mileage (Mileage is paid via the states travel system, not through GFIS)
  • Subject (Manually Type In)
  • Description Box (Enter event details)
  • Check Boxes for Victims
