Kentucky has two major training registry systems used by Early Care, Intervention and Education professionals:
ECE-TRIS is a centralized data base to track and store individual training records for Early Care and Education professionals in Kentucky. ECE-TRIS is maintained through Eastern Kentucky University. ECE-TRIS is designed to support program directors as they work with staff to develop professional development plans and to verify that staff have met training requirements for licensure, certification, ALL STARS, and/or CCCC/CDA requirements. To access ECE-TRIS go to: https://TRIS.eku.edu/ece
ECE-TRIS is a tool and resource for credentialed trainers in Kentucky. It can serve as a marketing tool when using the calendar feature, allows pre-registration of participants, and tracks the professional development of trainers.
As a prospective trainer you will be required to complete training on ECE-TRIS, prior to receiving your Trainer’s Credential. Your local Training Coach is also available to serve as a resource for navigating ECE-TRIS.
