These scholarships are administrated, as funds allow, by KHEAA for early care and education professionals to take college credit courses in order to obtain a CDA, Associate Degree (in ECE), Bachelor’s Degree (in ECE), or the Director’s Credential.

The role of the PD Coach is to support the scholar in their implementation of a Professional Growth Plan specific to the individual’s goals and needs and successful completion of a planned program of study. The PD Coach facilitates the application processes for the Related Expenses and Milestone Achievement Awards.
The Division of Child Care offers non-college scholarships for individuals seeking the CCCC and the CDA. Non-college scholarships are available through training organizations approved by the Division of Child Care, as funds allow.
