The Advisory Group has submitted its final recommendations for:

A justification process:

  • A justification process and documentation form for districts that exceed 1% of students participating in the Alternate Assessment, to submit information to the state justifying the need to exceed 1% of their student population participating in the alternate assessment.
  • Participation Guidelines
    • New Kentucky definition of students with the most significant cognitive disabilities
  • Universal Training Modules
    • Universal training modules to be used to train ARC members on the use of the new participation guidelines and use of the Learner Characteristics Inventory
