How to Train Other Adults

“How to train other adults” courses are developed for prospective trainers and current Kentucky Credentialed Trainers. New trainers seeking to become credentialed will likely need Fundamentals of Effective Training (FET). FET is offered quarterly, and slots tend to fill quickly. If FET does not display on the course catalog, email registration@lsv.uky.edu to be added to the wait list. You will be notified via email when registration opens for the next FET. All prospective trainers also need to take FET090 Introduction to Resources (see below). Trainers Seeking Renewal Hours toward the Kentucky Trainer’s Credential will need to complete a minimum of seven (7) “how to train other adults” hours every 3 years. Each course lists the number of hours offered. If you have questions about a course, please contact your Training Coach, or use the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page. If you are registering yourself, click For Myself to add the course to your cart. If you do not already have an account, you will be prompted to create the account during the checkout process. If you are registering one or more people, choose For Groups, and follow the check-out steps to manage a group.
